Riva Ferrer is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and musicology learner. She is an alto member of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, the country’s premier choral ensemble. She initially studied conducting and composition courses before gaining interest in Southeast Asia music. As a reflection of this, she incorporates indigenous music in some of her compositions.

Ricardo Enriquez is the caretaker of the Philippine-Japanese Friendship Memorial Shrine at the corner of Gov Pack Road and UP Drive. He has been there for 25 years.
Any UP Baguio student sure to have recognised Manong Ricardo. The shrine is accessible from one of the gates of the university.

Meet Rolando “Rolly” Fernandez, the editor in chief of the Northern Luzon bureau of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. He worked previously for The Daily Express during the 1980s. Rolly was a former journalism professor at UP Baguio and was considerably popular with journalism students.
In his office, Rolly decides which stories and contributions from the bureau come out on the Inquirer the next day.
